Participation
Based on previous conferences, approximately 200 attendees are expected, with strong participation from industry. The last conferences were successful in drawing participants from around the world including North America, Europe, Asia and Australia.
Format
The program is expected to be similar to that of the previous conferences in this series, including:
- day conference starting Monday morning, finishing Saturday noon
- Single session format with keynote to lead off each session
- Well attended poster sessions
- Complete proceedings with papers from all stand-up and poster presentations
- Proceedings prepared prior to conference and handed out at the conference
Passport, Visa and Border-Crossing Information for Canda and the United States
It is the sole responsibility of the guest to identify and obtain all required travel documents and have them available when necessary. These appropriate valid travel documents such as passports, visas, inoculation certificate and family legal documents are required for boarding and re-entry into the United States and Canada.
Guests who do not possess the proper documentation may be prevented from boarding their flight or ship or from entering a country and may be subject to fines. No refunds will be given to individuals who fail to bring proper documentation.

At the time of writing, to enter Canada, a valid passport is required for citizens of all countries except the United States - although it is strongly recommended to carry one. Visas are required for residents of certain countries; please contact your local Canadian Embassy, Consulate or High Commission Office for the specific requirements for your country of origin.
Canada welcomes you as a tourist, student or temporary worker. Every year, more than 5million people visit Canada to enjoy the many opportunities our country has to offer.
Depending on where you live, and the reason for your visit, you will need to meet certain entry requirements. In some cases, if you plan to stay in Canada for a certain period of time, you will need a Temporary Resident Visa.

US Visas __________________________________
Based on nationality, many countries still require an entry visa. It is the guests' responsibility to identify and to obtain all the necessary visas before commencing their cruise.
Suggestions on where to obtain visa information:
(1) US Citizens can visit the U.S. Department of State Foreign Entry Requirements website
(2) Canadian citizens can visit Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada website
(3) The Embassies (Consular Service Office) of each country on your sailing itinerary
(4) The visa service of your choice, such as CIBT website for specific visa requirements, information, forms and fees that apply to your nationality
Travel and Health Insurance
It is strongly recommended that participants take out insurance to cover loss incurred in case of cancellation, medical expenses and damage to or loss of personal effects. The organizers of the 29th World Veterinary Congress will not be responsible for any medical costs incurred by participants. The Organizing Committee will not accept liability for personal injuries or for loss or damage to property belonging to Congress participants, either during or as a result of the Congress or during any tours.
Letter of Invitation for Visa Policy
An official Letter of Invitation to obtain a Visa and authorization to attend the 12th International Conference on Modeling Casting, Welding and Advanced Solidification Processes will be issued ONLY after the Registration Form and full payment have been received.
