The World Association for the Advancement of Veterinary Parasitology (WAAVP) is a not-for-profit organization for scientists who study the parasites of non-human animals, encompassing helminthology, protozoology and entomology.

Who should attend:
The WAAVP conference brings together veterinary parasitologists from across the globe to discuss and exchange ideas and research results on the most current and pressing issues facing this diverse discipline. The conference will be of interest to parasitologists and veterinarians who teach or conduct research and to those from the animal health/pharmaceutical industry.
In 2009 WAAVP will be hosting their international meeting in conjunction with American Association of Veterinary Parasitologists and the International Commission on Trichinelloisis.
