Framed by historical buildings in downtown Calgary, the Calgary Telus Convention Centre offers a 20,000 square foot (1,856 square meter) ballroom, over 65,000 square feet (6,038 square meter) of exhibit space, five foyer areas and 27 breakout rooms, which are Meeting Matrix verified to make planning easier.
The North Building meeting rooms have unobstructed sightlines (with the exception of TELUS 107, 108, 109), soundproof walls, flexible room configurations and a spacious foyer area. The Terrace View provides an elegant setting and a spacious patio with a barbeque. Exhibition Hall CDE provides a free-span space with two partitions that can divide the hall into three multi-purpose halls. The majority of the meetings will be housed in the North building with close and easy access from the plenary room, the exhibition hall and the breakout rooms.
Less than three minutes to most hotels in downtown Calgary, the Telus Convention Centre is joined to the newly renovated Calgary Marriott Hotel and Hyatt Regency Hotel. And through Calgary's unique Plus 15 system – an aboveground, covered walkway to the Fairmont Palliser Hotel and the Sheraton Suites Calgary Eau Claire is within walking distance to the Convention Centre.
