Message from the President of the WCGTC
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
On behalf of the World Council for Gifted and Talented Children, I want to invite and encourage you to participate in the 18th Biennial WCGTC World Conference taking place in Vancouver, Canada, from August 3rd to 7th, 2009. The Headquarters Conference Committee, with the Conference Administrator, Cathrine Froese Klassen, Program Chair, Dr. Edna McMillan, Registration Chair, Dr. Stephen Klassen, and other Committee members, in their collaboration with International Conference Services in Vancouver, have been working very hard to make the World Conference a great success. I believe the 18th Biennial Conference is going to be unforgettable.
The purpose of the WCGTC is to focus world attention on gifted and talented children and their valuable, potential contribution to the benefit of humankind. Your participation will certainly contribute to the worldwide exchange of ideas and research in the area of gifted education and talent development and help to realize the purpose of the WCGTC. I am looking forward with anticipation to meeting you in Vancouver.
