Vancouver, BC: Franziska Kaltenegger, President and Partner of International Conference Services Ltd. (ICS), was honoured as the recipient of the prestigious Hugh B. Main Lifetime Achievement Award during Tourism Vancouver’s Annual General Meeting held on May 26. Tourism Vancouver is a business association representing approximately 1,050 members in tourism and related industries/activities. Their focus is on building exceptional customer relationships with meeting planners, travel influencers, travel media and independent tourists.
The Hugh B. Main Lifetime Award honours a lifetime of achievement in the development and promotion of tourism in greater Vancouver.

International Conference Services Ltd. (ICS), was honored as the recipient of the prestigious 2005 Tourism Award from Skål International Vancouver on December 14, 2005. Skål is the only international organization which brings together all sectors of the travel and tourism industry.
Franziska was recognized for overwhelmingly meeting the nominating criteria: length of time in business; contribution to the enhancement of B.C. Tourism; innovations contributing to the overall benefit of B.C. Tourism; and the role of or contribution to organizations or community groups that foster B.C. Tourism.

Vancouver, BC: International Conference Services Ltd. (ICS) was unanimously accepted as a member of the International Association of Professional Congress Organisers (IAPCO). IAPCO is a non-profit organization founded in 1968, representing professional organizers and managers of international and national congresses, conventions and special events.

ICS received the ACE Award for the Gala Dinner for the 10th World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC), hosted by the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer, in Vancouver, BC, August 10-14, 2003.
